Full Brake No 30988 - This was the other type of full brake vehicle common on the LMS system. Unlike the earlier type of full brake on my LMS list, this was pure LMS. Altogether a sleeker vehicle, it was introduced from 1938 and continued to be built until 1947. By 1938 the LMS has discontinued the full lining and adopted a much simpler approach - just two single cream lines above the windows and a black line along the waist flanked by cream lines.
