Great North of Scotland Railway
Formed in 1846 this was always a small railway serving the north of Scotland. The locomotives were  light green (approx RGB 55-128-57) or, variously grass green or bright green. Early coaching stock was described as dark lake but by the turn of the century had changed to a red brown (approx RGB 128-1-0) with white upper panelling and then to a dark maroon (try RGB 63-9-31).
